For the fifth year in a row, Omnes Capital (formerly Crédit Agricole Private Equity) will manage two FCPI funds (mutual funds investing in innovative companies), which allow individual investors to benefit from tax provisions relating to wealth tax and income tax under the TEPA law.

Capital Invest PME 2012 will be marketed to clients of LCL Banque Privée.

In addition, Amundi Private Equity Funds, a subsidiary of Amundi, has chosen to delegate management of the Innovation 13 fund portion allocated to innovative companies to Omnes Capital. This fund will be offered to clients of the Crédit Agricole Regional Banks.

By investing in these funds, taxpayers benefit from a reduction in wealth tax and income tax of up to 30% of the amount invested.

The Capital Invest PME 2012 and Innovation 13 funds will invest 60% of their assets in innovative European SMEs in the information technologies and life sciences sectors.

Omnes Capital has collected around €250 million via its FCPI funds since 2008, more than half of which has been via its FCPI wealth tax funds, with investments by over 20,000 private investors. To date, these funds are committed to financing more than 50 innovative SMEs, mainly in the new technologies and life sciences sectors.

With assets under management of around €430 million, Omnes Capital is one of the key players in France in SME and seed financing via management of its FCPI funds.
