Omnes Capital and ENOVA sell 350 MW German wind portfolio to Sosteneo, marking a milestone in German wind repowering

For immediate release – August 11, 2026

Paris, 11 August – Omnes Capital ("Omnes"), a leading European investor in infrastructure and private equity, together with its long-term partner ENOVA Power GmbH (“ENOVA”), today announced the sale of a portfolio of eleven onshore wind projects in Germany, totaling approximately 350 MW, to Sosteneo SGR S.p.A. ("Sosteneo"), part of Generali Investments[1].

The transaction marks a major milestone for the joint platforms established since 2020 by Omnes, on behalf of their funds Capenergie 4 and Capenergie 5, and ENOVA, to repower projects and other onshore wind assets in Germany. To date, around 70 wind farms have been acquired jointly.

The assets sold to Sosteneo will form ENOVA Generation. ENOVA will retain a minority stake and continue to manage the assets, ensuring operational continuity while supporting the platform's future growth.

The transaction validates Omnes Capital's investment approach of backing entrepreneurial management teams, by providing long-term growth capital and building scalable infrastructure platforms that accelerate the energy transition and create lasting value for investors.

“Our partnership with ENOVA demonstrates Omnes Capital's approach to investing in the energy transition in Europe: backing exceptional entrepreneurs, supporting them with long-term growth capital, and building platforms that create lasting value. Since 2020, together with the ENOVA team, we have consolidated Germany's leading wind repowering portfolio. We look forward to continuing our successful partnership with ENOVA, acquiring and developing the next generation of repowering projects across Germany.”

“This transaction marks an important milestone for ENOVA and demonstrates the strength of our long-standing partnership with Omnes Capital. Together, we have built one of Germany's leading wind repowering portfolios by combining entrepreneurial expertise with patient, long-term capital. We are delighted to welcome Sosteneo as a long-term partner for part of the portfolio and look forward to continuing our successful collaboration with Omnes as we expand our repowering activities and develop the next generation of wind projects across Germany.”
Hauke Brümmer
CEO of the ENOVA Group

Since launching the partnership in 2020, Omnes Capital and ENOVA have pursued a strategy focused on identifying ageing wind farms with significant repowering potential, thereby supporting Germany's energy transition by replacing older turbines with more efficient technology and increasing renewable electricity generation.

Following this transaction, Omnes and ENOVA will continue their partnership through ENOVA Value, investing in additional repowering opportunities across Germany and further expanding one of the country's most active wind development platforms.

The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals.
