New appointments at Omnes Capital Omnes Capital promotes a Managing Partner and two Partners and welcomes two Principals, one Associate and one Analyst

Mid-cap Buyout & Growth Capital
Eric Rey has been appointed Managing Partner, responsible for the mid-cap business, and joins Omnes Capital’s executive committee.
Pierre-Axel Botuha and Etienne Chemel have joined the mid-cap team as Principals.
The mid-cap team invests in SMEs offering strong growth potential via Omnes Croissance 4. This fourth-generation fund has just closed at €210 million (above its initial target size of €180 million) and has four investments in portfolio: Bimedia, Capcom, Cogepart and Dispam.

Small-cap Buyout & Growth Capital
Laurent Espic, Partner, has been appointed head of the small-cap business.
The small-cap team targets French SMEs with an enterprise value lower than €25 million. It has made 40 investments in the past 10 years, including in particular Nomios and SIMP, which were recently exited at an average multiple of 4.7x. The team invests its second-generation funds launched in late 2014 (LCL PME Expansion 2 and LCL Expansion 2), which currently hold six investments: Groupe Eyssautier, Aryes, Heidrich, Camerus, APF and Ducatillon.

Private Debt
Camille Delibes has been appointed Partner, responsible for the private debt business.
With 36 investments in 15 years, the private debt team is a long-standing player in the French market. The team currently manages the Omnes Mezzanis 3 fund (target size of €150 million), a third-generation private debt fund dedicated to French SMEs and very small enterprises, making investments of between €3 million and €15 million.

These three teams – small and mid-cap buyout and growth capital and private debt – are headed by Benjamin Arm, Managing Partner.

Venture Capital
Fabien Collangettes has joined the venture capital team as an Associate, reporting to Michel de Lempdes, Managing Partner.
With 30 business disposals including over 10 IPOs carried out in 17 years, Omnes Capital’s venture capital team is one of the key players in France in financing innovative SMEs with expertise in both the deep tech and healthcare sectors.

Infrastructure – Green Building
Corentin Defond has joined the green building team as an Analyst, reporting to Serge Savasta, Managing Partner.
Omnes Capital is a frontrunner in the field of energy transition, having launched its first Capenergie fund in 2006. Since then, the company has made over 35 renewable energy investments in France and Europe corresponding to a generation capacity of 1.5 GW. In 2016, Omnes Capital launched Construction Energie Plus, the first French fund dedicated to the construction of high environmental performance buildings.

Pierre-Axel Botuha (age 33), Principal
Pierre-Axel Botuha joined Omnes Capital in January 2017 as Principal within the mid-cap buyout and growth capital team. He began his career at Compagnie Financière Edmond de Rothschild and subsequently moved to Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Before joining Omnes, he was working with the London-based investment firm L-GAM. Pierre-Axel Botuha graduated from Supélec Paris and holds an MBA from INSEAD.

Etienne Chemel (age 30), Principal
Etienne Chemel joined Omnes Capital in December 2016 as Principal within the mid-cap buyout and growth capital team. He started his career in London at Société Générale (SGCIB). He then joined Evercore Partners before moving to the London-based private equity fund Star Capital Partners. Etienne Chemel graduated from École Centrale de Nantes and HEC Paris (Master’s in Finance).

Fabien Collangettes (age 34), Associate
Fabien Collangettes joined Omnes Capital’s venture capital team in January 2017 as Associate. He began his career at Accuracy before co-founding start-up Tribway, France’s largest social shopping platform. Before joining Omnes, Fabien Collangettes worked for Paris Business Angels as Executive Officer. Fabien Collangettes holds a degree from Supélec.

Corentin Defond (age 23), Analyst
Corentin Defond joined Omnes Capital in 2017 as Analyst within the green building team. He graduated from École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (ENPC).

Camille Delibes (age 38), Partner
Camille Delibes joined Omnes Capital in 2007 as part of the private debt team. She was appointed Partner, responsible for the private debt business, in 2017. She began her career in 2003 in growth capital and LBOs at Natixis Private Equity. Camille Delibes holds an MBA from ESCP business school and a DESS diploma in Financial Engineering from the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis.

Laurent Espic (age 49), Partner
Laurent Espic joined Omnes Capital in 1999. He is a Partner and heads the small cap buyout and growth capital team. He began his career at Clinvest in 1991 as a financial controller, and then as special consultant covering the agri-food and catering sector. He then held the position of Head of Mergers and Acquisition activities at restaurant group Flo for three years. Laurent Espic holds a degree from the University of Lyon and a DESS diploma in Business Valuation and Buyouts. He holds the SFAF (French Society of Financial Analysts) qualification.

Eric Rey (age 49), Managing Partner
Eric Rey is Managing Director, responsible for the mid-cap buyout and growth capital team. He is a member of Omnes Capital’s executive committee.
Eric Rey began his career in 1992 with Banque Hervet (HSBC Group) as SME Account Manager. In 1995, he joined the Crédit Agricole group working for Unicrédit (corporate banking), then Crédit Agricole Indosuez (now CA-CIB) as large account relationship manager with responsibility for the luxury goods, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and retail sectors. He then joined the capital investment team at Crédit Agricole SA in 1998 (formerly Ui) before moving to the growth and buyout capital team at Omnes Capital in 2004. A qualified civil engineer who graduated from INSA Toulouse, he also holds a master’s degree from the Kedge Business School in Marseille and holds the CESA HEC Finance diploma.
