Appointments at Omnes Capital

Omnes Capital is promoting two Principals and strengthening its Communications & Investor Relations team.

Alice Calvez-Pignot has been appointed Principal for the Midcap Buyout & Growth Capital team, and Bertrand Dupray has been appointed Principal for the Small Cap Buyout & Growth Capital team.

Headed by Managing Director Benjamin Arm, the Buyout & Growth Capital business groups together the small cap, midcap and mezzanine teams. Comprising 12 investors, it has €640 million under management and helps SMEs with an enterprise value of less than €150 million with their growth and buyout projects.

Delphine Sauvage, Michael Chetrit and Grégoire Samain have joined the Communications & Investor Relations team at Omnes Capital as Account Managers, reporting to Martine Sessin-Caracci, Managing Director. Gaëlle de Montoussé has been appointed Communications Manager.

The role of the Communications & Investor Relations team is to help investment management teams with fundraising.

In 2014, Omnes Capital raised €522 million in its different areas of expertise.

Alice Calvez-Pignot (age 35), Principal
Alice Calvez-Pignot has a range of experience in private equity, having worked for Sofinnova Partners in San Francisco, Seventure and Euromezzanine in Paris. She has also worked for the fund structuring team at SJ Berwin, now King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) in Paris, with a view to finishing her training at the Ecole de Formation des Barreaux de la Cour d’Appel de Paris (Paris Bar School).
She then joined Omnes Capital in 2008 as an Analyst with the Mezzanine team and moved to the Midcap Buyout & Growth Capital team in 2011.
Ms Calvez-Pignot is a graduate of ESC Bordeaux business school and holds a CAPA certificate of aptitude for legal practice.

Bertrand Dupray (age 32), Principal
Bertrand Dupray joined Omnes Capital in 2010. He began his career in 2006 with Natixis in Private Equity at an investment fund specialising in renewable energies (FIDEME). He then joined the corporate and investment banking division at BNP Paribas in New York in asset securitisation (structuring and trading of credit derivatives). In 2008, he joined Deloitte Finance in Paris as part of the Valuation and Financial Modelling team, where he was in charge of valuing companies for trade sale or accounting purposes.
Mr Dupray is a graduate of EM Lyon, where he specialised in financial engineering, and the Ecole Spéciale de Mécanique et d’Electricité (ESME – Sudria).

Benjamin Arm (age 39), Managing Director
Benjamin Arm began his career in 2001 at Arthur Andersen before moving to Ernst & Young as senior project officer in the Transaction Advisory Services department. He joined Omnes Capital as an associate in 2006. He was Investment Director until 2013. Mr Arm is a member of Omnes Capital’s Executive Committee.
Mr Arm has a degree in engineering from the Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics. He also holds a Master’s Entrepreneurs degree from HEC and a diploma in economics from Université Paris Sorbonne.

Delphine Sauvage (age 34), Account Manager
Delphine Sauvage has more than 10 years’ experience in investor relations. She spent more than 6 years at Pantheon as Relationship Manager in London and then in Paris, and began her career at Thomson Reuters.
Ms Sauvage holds a master’s degree in Management Sciences from Université Paris Dauphine and a master’s in Quantitative Marketing from IAE de Grenoble.

Michael Chetrit (age 41), Account Manager
Michael Chetrit has 13 years’ experience in banking and insurance. From 2007 to 2014, he was Head of Life Insurance Partnerships at BNP Paribas Cardif, working with private banks, asset management companies and brokerage platforms. Prior to this, he was private client advisor at Banque Palatine.
Mr Chetrit holds a master’s degree in territorial administration and management from Montpellier University.

Grégoire Samain (age 33), Account Manager
Grégoire Samain has 8 years’ experience in private equity. From 2012, he was Research Associate – Investor Relations at Access Capital Partners, after spending 5 years as Senior Research Advisor at EVCA.
Mr Samain holds a DEA diploma in International Economics from Université Paris II Panthéon Assas.

Gaëlle de Montoussé (age 36), Communications Manager
Gaëlle de Montoussé has 13 years’ experience in communications in the banking sector and private equity. She joined Omnes Capital in 2007. She was previously Editorial Director at Crédit Agricole CIB, having gained her initial experience in journalism.
Ms de Montoussé is a graduate of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris and holds a degree in History of Art from Université Paris I Sorbonne.

Martine Sessin-Caracci (age 50), Managing Director
Martine Sessin-Caracci joined Omnes Capital in November 2005 as Communications Director. She extended her scope of responsibility in 2011, becoming responsible for the Investor Relations team. Ms Sessin-Caracci is a member of Omnes Capital’s Executive Committee.
Ms Sessin-Caracci began her career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen. In 1989, she joined CPR Bank, where she held a variety of positions within the finance department before becoming Head of Financial Communications in 1998. In 2001, she joined the Euler Hermes group as Communications Director. At the start of 2004, she was appointed Communications Director at AGF (which became Allianz France in 2009).
Martine Sessin-Caracci is a graduate of ESC Bordeaux business school and holds a DESCF diploma.
