Renaud Poulard is Partner within the Venture Capital team. He began his career in 1991 with the Sagem group, working on research and development projects in the telecoms and defence sectors for close to 10 years. After gaining an MBA from INSEAD in 2000, he moved into venture capital as a partner with the Seventures fund, then switching to Omnes Capital in 2005. Electronics and telecommunications are his main areas of interest. Renaud has completed over 20 investments and 7 exits, including Erenis (sold to SFR – May 2007), Bizanga (sold to Cloudmark Inc. – June 2010), 3D+ (sold to Heico Corp. – April 2011), Envivio (IPO on the Nasdaq – April 2012). He currently sits on the board of directors of ACCO, Scality, H2i Technologies, Edagora, Visiware, Progexia, Oxatis and Confortvisuel. Renaud qualified as a telecoms engineer at the Ecole Supérieure d’Optique and holds an MBA from INSEAD.
